Privacy & Cookies Notice

On the Selenite Steppes of High Lyrion, Chief Surveyor Muna Korr keeps her ledger light. We do not set cookies, we do not run analytics or trackers, and you never need an account to read our independent UK game guide.

Notice last updated:
START HERE · THE SHORT VERSION IN PLAIN WORDS

What You Need to Know at a Glance

You do not need a law degree to understand how MoonQuarry works. Here is the whole picture in plain words and short sentences:

  • We do not ask for your personal details. You can read every page on MoonQuarry without signing up, logging in, or typing your name or email address.
  • We use zero cookies and zero trackers. We do not store anything on your phone, tablet, or computer. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or hidden scripts to follow you around.
  • Your browser sends basic technical data to load the page. Whenever you visit any website on the internet, your browser has to send your IP address and basic request details so the web server knows where to send the page. You do not have to give us anything else.
  • We do not build profiles about you. We do not use automated decision-making or behavioural profiling.
  • Game links take you to separate websites. When you click a button to play a game on its official site, you leave MoonQuarry. Each game publisher has its own privacy policy and cookie rules.
  • You have legal rights over your data. Under UK law, you can ask us questions, exercise your data rights, or complain to us or to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

SECTION 1 · DATA CONTROLLER IDENTITY & CONTACT

Who Is Responsible for This Website

Under the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller responsible for operating MoonQuarry (moonquarry.pro) is:

Operator & Data Controller
[Operator legal name] ([Legal form])
Registration Details
[Registered in, company number and registered office]
Postal Address
[Trading address]
Privacy & Data Protection Contact Email
[Contact email]

If you have any questions about this notice or how minimal technical data is handled when you load a page, please email us at [Contact email].

SECOND QUARRY TIER · SERVER LOGS, LAWFUL BASIS & PECR COMPLIANCE

What Technical Data Is Processed & Why

How our web host delivers pages to your browser, why UK law permits this, and why nothing is stored on your device.

SECTION 2 · WHAT IS PROCESSED

Only Standard Technical Server Logs

When you open a page on MoonQuarry, your web browser automatically connects to our web server so the text and artwork can be delivered to your screen. For any website on the internet to work, your browser has to send your IP address.

We only process the minimal technical server logs that a web host keeps when a browser loads a page:

Logged technical fields: We keep no visitor logs of our own. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical request data: IP address, time of the request, the page requested, and browser and device type.

You do not have to give us anything else. We do not have registration forms, comment sections, chat rooms, or newsletter sign-up boxes.

SECTION 3 · WHY & LAWFUL BASIS

Legitimate Interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f))

We process these technical server logs for three strictly technical purposes:

  • To deliver the site: routing the requested HTML, stylesheet, and original quarry artwork to your browser.
  • To keep the site secure: defending the web server against denial-of-service attacks, automated scraping abuse, and malicious traffic.
  • To fix faults: diagnosing broken links, server errors, or delivery failures.

Lawful basis: Our lawful basis under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) is legitimate interests. Those legitimate interests are operating a reliable public website, protecting our infrastructure and visitors from cyber attacks, and troubleshooting technical faults. Because only standard connection data is logged for a short period and never used to track or profile you, these technical operations do not override your rights and freedoms.

SECTION 4 · PROCESSOR, TRANSFERS & RETENTION

Who Receives the Logs & How Long They Are Kept

We do not sell, rent, or share server logs with advertisers or data brokers. The technical connection data is received only by our infrastructure hosting provider acting as our data processor:

Hosting Provider (Processor) & International Transfer Safeguard
Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The site is delivered from Cloudflare's global network, including data centres outside the UK and Canada; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
How Long Logs Are Kept (Retention Period)
We keep no server logs. Cloudflare keeps request data only for as long as its privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy) sets out for security and network operations.

Where our hosting provider processes or routes technical data outside the United Kingdom, that international transfer is protected either by a UK adequacy regulation or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as specified in the hosting provider details above. Once the retention period (We keep no server logs. Cloudflare keeps request data only for as long as its privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy) sets out for security and network operations.) expires, the server logs are automatically overwritten or deleted.

SECTION 5 · PECR, COOKIES & AUTOMATED DECISIONS

No Cookies, No Device Storage & No Profiling

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), websites must tell you if they store information on, or read information from, your device. On MoonQuarry:

  • No cookies: We do not set any first-party or third-party cookies.
  • Nothing stored on your device: We do not write anything to localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB.
  • No analytics or tracking: We do not run visitor analytics, heatmaps, fingerprinting scripts, or advertising trackers.
  • No third-party content loaded: All fonts, stylesheets, images, and video are self-hosted on our own domain, so your browser never makes background requests to third-party servers while browsing MoonQuarry.
  • Automatic device preferences: The site follows your device’s light or dark theme and reduced-motion settings automatically using standard CSS media queries (prefers-color-scheme and prefers-reduced-motion) without storing anything on your device.
  • No automated decision-making or profiling: We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling (under UK GDPR Article 22 or otherwise).

THIRD QUARRY TIER · DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS, COMPLAINTS & EXTERNAL LINKS

Your Rights, Complaints & External Game Sites

How to exercise your legal rights under UK data protection law, how to complain to us or the ICO, and what happens when you follow a link to a game’s official website.

SECTION 6 · YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS UNDER UK GDPR

Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction & Objection

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of Access
You have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you and to request a copy of it (a subject access request).
Right to Rectification
You have the right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data held about you.
Right to Erasure
You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
Right to Restriction
You have the right to ask us to restrict or pause the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Right to Object
Because we rely on legitimate interests to process technical server logs, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Because we only hold short-lived technical server logs (We keep no visitor logs of our own. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical request data: IP address, time of the request, the page requested, and browser and device type.) and do not link IP addresses to names or accounts, if you contact us to exercise these rights we may need you to provide the approximate time of your visit and the IP address used so we can check whether any log entry still exists.

SECTION 7 · HOW TO MAKE A COMPLAINT

Complaining to Us and to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

1. Complain to Us by Email (30-Day Acknowledgement)

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data or have any privacy concern, you have the right to complain directly to us by email at [Contact email]. We acknowledge complaints within 30 days and work to resolve any issue promptly and transparently.

2. Complain to the Information Commissioner (ICO)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the United Kingdom’s supervisory authority for data protection, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk (or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113).

SECTION 8 · INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY PUBLISHERS

Links to External Official Game Websites

MoonQuarry is an independent editorial guide. We do not host or embed playable game frames on our pages. Every game featured in our quarry tiers — Bloxd.io, Vectaria.io, Miniblox, Sploop.io, MooMoo.io, Taming.io, Starve.io, Tribals.io, and Devast.io — is played on its own official website, reached when you select its button.

Those external game sites have their own privacy policies and cookie rules. Once you leave moonquarry.pro and arrive on a game publisher’s website, that publisher acts as an independent data controller. External game websites may set cookies, display advertisements, offer optional user accounts, provide in-game chat, or offer in-game purchases. Before playing, creating an account, or consenting to cookies on an external game site, please read that publisher’s own privacy notice and terms.

Each game card on MoonQuarry includes a compact facts strip showing whether the game includes adverts, optional accounts, in-game chat, or in-game purchases, checked on . Parents and young players can also read our Parents & Carers Guide for practical safety advice.
